Linking to EZG

There are three main ways to link to this site: text links, graphic links, and auto-updating cartoons.  If you are linking to this site, please send an e-mail to me at erin@ezgtoons.com to let me know.  I would like to have the opportunity to meet you and to provide a link back to your site if needed. 

Text links
Providing a text hyperlink is the easiest and most common way of linking to the EZG Toons website.  You can use the text "Erin Gillespie" if you are referring to cartoonists or you can use "EZG Toons" or "ezgtoons.com" if you are referring to cartoon websites.  The URL is

Graphic Links
Providing a "button" or "banner" ad that links to the EZG Toons website is also very much appreciated.  Please do not attempt to resize or alter the buttons shown below in any way without contacting me. 

You can use the graphics at the bottom of this section on your site.  Simply save the graphic on your computer then insert it at the appropriate location on your website.  Then create a hyperlink from the graphic to the EZG Toons website.  The URL is

If you are working with html, you will want to copy the code directly below the graphic you are interested in using.  Then paste the code into your site at the appropriate location.  The graphic button will appear at that spot and link to the EZG Toons website.

Auto-Updating Cartoons for Your Website
This section describes how you can display cartoons on your website that automatically change during the week.  Providing your readers with fresh cartoons is another way to keep them coming back to your site and it is absolutely free!  Just copy the html code listed below into your site and once or twice a week (barring any unforeseen circumstances) a new cartoon will update in the spot that you copied the code to.  The code also creates a link back to the EZG Toons website.  Please e-mail me and let me know that you are using this service.  I am happy to provide a reciprocal link to your site if needed.  

Code for the auto-updating cartoons is as follows:

The cartoon should appear on your site in the same size and shape that cartoons appear on this site.  Please do not attempt to alter the text or artwork in any way.    

Technical Info: Most files are gifs, but there may occasionally be a jpeg or other similar file type.  Most portrait-oriented images are 300 pixels wide and then vary in height (depending on the size of the caption) from roughly 350 pixels to 400 pixels.  Landscape-oriented images are usually 400 or 450 pixels wide and vary in height from roughly 320 pixels to 420 pixels.  The majority of cartoons are black line art on a white background with the occasional cartoon in color.
